JABARA'S CARPET OUTLET 

Payment: Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept CASH, CHECKS, MASTERCARD, VISA, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DEBIT cards.  ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIT CARD CHECKS.   Please be prepared to show identification when asked.  ASK ABOUT OUR SHAW FINANCING.

Gift Cards are also available. Just ask one of our associates.

Returns: 30 day refund or exchange on most merchandise if accompanied by receipt, in saleable condition and original packaging if applicable.
Exceptions:

Area Rugs must be returned within 14 days of purchase.  Limit 2 per return.
Area Rug pad if unopened
Carpet or Vinyl cut off a roll will be returned at remnant price.
Carpet Pad must be a 6’ x 6’ or larger piece to be returned.
Tile, Ceramic, Wood or Laminate flooring can be returned only if we have
more of the same product in stock.

If the above exception guidelines are NOT met, refunds may still be given at the discretion of management subject to a 10% - 50% restocking fee.

Refunds on purchases made by check will have a 14 day waiting period starting from and including the day of purchase.

Refunds on a credit card will be credited back to that account. 

Storage:  We will gladly store your merchandise FREE of charge for UP TO 180 DAYS.  After 180 days, a $3 per day storage fee will be applied.

JABARA'S DAMAGED FREIGHT

1.                    No exchanges or refunds without receipt.  A Receipt is your responsibility.
2.                   
No returns on exterior doors.
3.                   
No exchanges or refunds after 60 days.
4.                   
Product needs to be in the same condition as when it left.

JABARA'S CARPET GALERIE 

1.        Buyer hereby agrees that the terms of payment shall be Cash on Order, unless other arrangements are made and noted herein.
2.       
All merchandise subject to acceptable dye lot variations as defined by industry standards.
3.       
Buyer agrees that deposits or payments made on special orders or cut orders cannot be refunded; Buyer further agrees that buyer may cancel a contract for purchase of in stock goods only, and that Seller will return all moneys deposited less 25% for restocking.
4.       
No claims for carpet pile crushing, carpet pile shading, or soiling will be considered by Seller since these are not considered manufacturing defects and they are not compensable claims.
5.       
Buyer agrees that Seller will not be responsible for delays or failures in delivery or installation caused by strikes or other causes beyond Seller’s control, that seller is not responsible for consequential damages; and that seller is not responsible for shortages or material when sale based on measurements or plans submitted by Buyer.
6.       
Buyer agrees to pay an extra charge for moving appliances and furniture, and that Buyer will hold Seller harmless for any damages incurred in moving same or the Buyer may move appliances or furniture himself.  Buyer is responsible for disassembling and assembling large entertainment units and waterbeds.  Large furniture should be free of all contents.  Buyer is responsible for wall hangings, antiques and collectibles.  Seller does not move pool tables, grand pianos or large organs.
7.       
Buyer agrees that Seller is not responsible for chipping, scratching, breaking of any trim including baseboard that has to be removed during the installation.  Seller agrees to be as careful as possible to avoid scuffing paint on walls or damaging trim that is in place during installation, but should not be held responsible for slight marring or scuffing of the walls or trim by the back of the carpet.
8.       
Buyer is responsible for disconnecting icemakers, gas lines, electrical cords, phone lines or anything else that is necessary for proper installation of the merchandise.
9.       
Seller reserves the right to rebid the job if unforeseen items like an inferior subfloor are noticed during installation.  Any change order on a job must be approved by the customer, the installer and Jabara’s Carpet Galerie before the job can proceed.  Any additional charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
10.     
Buyer bears responsibility to discuss with seller location of seams and direction flooring is laid.  If Buyer fails to do so seller is charged with using their best professional judgment in determining those decisions.
11.     
Buyer agrees to allow Seller to inspect and endeavor to correct any condition complained of, and that refusal to allow either constitutes a waiver of Buyer’s rights to assert a claim or file suit against the seller.
12.     
If Seller is simply contracting with Buyer for merchandise, Seller bears no responsibility for the quality of the installation of the product.
13.     
Buyer and Seller agree that this contract is the complete agreement between the parties, and that everything which the Buyer expects the Seller to perform is written hereon; Buyer and Seller agree that this contract can be modified in writing only.

INSTALLATION GUARANTEE

If your carpet installation is provided by JABARA’S and is unsatisfactory because of improper workmanship or material used in installation, we will make repair at no cost to you for one year from the date of installation, provided any problems are brought to the immediate attention of the Seller when the problem first appears.  This guarantee is not transferable and applies only to home use.

PROPER CARE FOR YOUR CARPET

Carpets will give excellent service provided that they receive reasonable care and attention.  Failure by the owners to exercise the basic rules of good maintenance shortens the service life of carpet.  Even the best grades of carpet have limitations and can be abused.  Jabara’s recommends:
1.       
 See warranties as per manufacturer;
2.       
Frequent vacuuming with an upright vacuum cleaner;
3.       
Regular professional cleaning;
